Reb Lacey

Reb brings a grounded, people-centred perspective to our Ambassador team, blending her career as an NHS nurse with a passion for biodiversity. Her journey into sustainability is rooted in the belief that real change starts with simple, honest questions about how we live and celebrate. As the co-founder of Nuroosa, Reb is creating a space that is “good different” a regenerative new build with a rich tapestry of habitats, to show how nature can be supported by anyone, grows her own fuel, and uses repurposed materials within a design-led interior.

With extensive experience in NHS transformational change, Reb understands that lasting progress happens when people feel heard, not overwhelmed. Driven by a concern for the environment and a desire to share practical solutions, she galvanised a new Women’s Institute in her community, where she now serves as a WI Climate Ambassador. She is a master of “rocking the boat while staying in it,” using storytelling and trust to bridge the gap between climate anxiety and positive action.

Reb is passionate about drawing on one’s entire background to look at challenges with fresh eyes. Her nursing career has uniquely equipped her to walk in the shoes of others, using deep listening to build the confidence to act. As an SWA Ambassador, Reb believes that sustainable weddings are about what we gain: character, connection, and a future built on care.
