Fleur Record Smith

Fleur Record-Smith is a venue owner, sustainability consultant and long-standing advocate for positive change within the wedding industry. With over 15 years’ experience in the sector and an MSc in Sustainability from Cranfield University, she combines industry knowledge with sustainability expertise and a practical understanding of the challenges businesses face in driving change.

As the founder of an award-winning, B Corp-certified wedding venue and the Sustainable Wedding Alliance’s first accredited venue, Fleur has championed sustainability through collaboration, education and raising awareness. She has worked with venues, suppliers and couples to encourage more sustainable choices and believes strongly in the power of collective action to create meaningful industry-wide change.

Named Industry Change Maker in 2025, Fleur has been actively involved with the Alliance since its inception and is passionate about helping its member-led community accelerate positive change across the wedding industry.
