Libby Clark

South West

Wiltshire Ambassador

Libby brings an unwavering passion for a sustainable industry, having been a wedding photographer since the age of 21.

Growing up surrounded by nature reserves on the edge of The Cotswolds, she moved to the Wiltshire countryside, where she now lives with her own young family. It was during the heatwave of 2022 that Libby realised she had a voice across multiple public social media platforms that didn’t have to be about photography alone. She discovered a small group of people who wanted to make their wedding more sustainable, and that led her to the Sustainable Wedding Alliance. She began her journey to accreditation and succeeded just a year later.

Since then, Libby’s passion for delivering the message that weddings can be sustainable has continued to grow. She lives by the mantra that while no one can do absolutely everything to be sustainable, everyone can do something, and together we can make a huge difference.

Libby has made sustainability the very core of her business. She lightly educates her couples with tips to be more sustainable on their wedding day, offers carbon offsetting as one of her services, and plants a tree for each couple through The National Forest, giving every couple their own piece of natural Britain. Every couple she meets at a wedding fair, whether they book with her or not, is given a baby houseplant to take away and nurture, in the hope it encourages a little more mindfulness when it comes to sustainability.
